Hate crimes are never acceptable, but the rise in Anti-Asian rhetoric amidst COVID-19 has been insurmountably overlooked and absolutely NOT OK on astronomical levels. From the negative portrayals of the AAPI community by the media, to our very own U.S. politicians pedaling hate, racism, and xenophobia in their speeches; it is clear that we have a deeply rooted issue.
